Scope and Content:
This series consists of records relating predominantly to the crew of the St. Roch. The series also includes records relating to other persons not part of the crew but were aboard the ship for substantial lengths of time. The series is composed both of records created and received by individuals who were aboard the ship during its active period, as well as research files created by Parks Canada and the Vancouver Maritime Museum on the subject of these persons. The series includes correspondences, notes, manuscripts, diaries photographs, memoranda, rolls, crew lists, reproduced log entries, reproduced diaries, manuscripts, invoices, and receipts, published materials, newspaper clippings, digital images, badges, invitations, memoranda, (1) audio cassette, (1) camcorder cassette, and journals.
The series is arranged into three subseries:
- Subseries 2.1: Crew Correspondence and Original Materials
- Subseries 2.2: Henry Larsen
- Subseries 2.3: Parks Canada and Vancouver Maritime Museum Crew Materials
